Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil, an American actress who is well-known for playing Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy series "The Magicians" (2015 until present). The actress was previously recognized as the character of the 13-year-old girl from Lebanon, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing tumultuous personal experiences in set against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film 'Towelhead'. In 2007, she was picked by Variety among the "10 best actors". In the 2009 film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. She was also nominated for the Independent Spirit Award category for 'Best female lead'. The actress has also appeared in movies such as 'Mooz Lum', 'The Last Airbender"', 'Pop star' and 'Under Silver Lake as well as many guest roles on television along with her co-lead in 'Lucky 7'.
