Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has strong roots in the South of America. Olivia was just two years old when her parents separated. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was a United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised within Tokyo in Japan. Even though her family was relocated from Oklahoma to many other places, it was in Tokyo that she received the majority of her education. When she was in Japan, she appeared as an actor in local shows and eventually turned into a Japanese modeling model. Olivia relocated into Los Angeles when her family had returned to the United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. Olivia's acting career took off after just a couple of tiny roles. The role she landed was that of Mily in the Hawaii-lensed series Beyond the Break (2005) as well as the role of receptionist in the film Big Stan starring Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" as well as "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. She is a huge fan of surfing and has been practising since watching the tv program Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she has earned the black belt in taekwondo. Her mother remarried when she was only two years old, and was an Air Force Officer. Although the family moved numerous times, the vast majority of her existence was in Tokyo Japan which was the place in which her father worked for the military. The University of Oklahoma is where she pursued her journalism studies, along with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
