Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman who has ever won at the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. The first female to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. From a very young age, Annie was an avid sports fan and loved exercising. She won many medals at school events. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is aged 31. She is 5'7" and her weight is approximately about 67kg. Annie began CrossFit classes in California in the year 2009. Annie was able to do well during the first few matches. She was among the top 10 of over 70. However she was unable to achieve any championships and finished the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. It was in her second year, she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014, she received a Silver medal and, most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among others. Her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than 1,000 followers. This is where she uploads videos about training diet, family life as well as travel.
