Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She also coaches and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. Annie had an impressive performance during her first competitions. She placed at the top of the list in 70 athletes. However, she didn't win a title and finished the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen guided her to the second position in the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. In her second year of competition that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. Annie's rise in recognition as a professional athlete has made her the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb.
