Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16 1958) is an American actor from the United States. She started her acting career at the beginning of the 1980s and became famous for the part she played in Siobhan Ryan in 1982-1986 on the daytime drama Ryan's Hope. Her best-known role has been Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. McCain has also written four books, including Dad John McCain, My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
