Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. She initially adored the intellectual challenge of her job, but soon began to lose interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant.
